Wendy Hiehle, a 36-year-old woman from Hinckley, Minnesota, was last seen on June 2, 2004, near the Grand Casino located on Lady Luck Drive. She disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind important personal items, including her medication, which she relied on for several health issues, including diabetes. Wendy’s black 1990 Acura Integra was later found abandoned about ten miles south of Hinckley, near the I-35 and State Route 23 off-ramp. Despite the discovery of her car, there was no sign of Wendy at the scene.
Wendy's family and investigators grew increasingly concerned, especially as her medication was left in the vehicle, and she had not accessed her bank accounts since her disappearance. Checks she had with her were never cashed, which further pointed to the likelihood that she did not leave voluntarily. Police have not ruled out foul play, though no significant leads have emerged since her car was found. Wendy's case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to seek information from the public.
