Nina Brenda Herron, a 21-year-old woman, was last seen on May 14, 2005, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was reported missing after being last spotted at her residence near the 8000 block of Central Avenue Northeast around 5:00 p.m. Nina was wearing a black tank top, white jeans (or possibly blue shorts) with "Babygirl" written across the back, and white K-Swiss sneakers.
She had several distinctive tattoos, including the initials "N.H." on her left middle finger, and an unfinished animated character on her left calf. She also had a scar on the right side of her head from previous surgery.
Nina's disappearance is part of a troubling pattern of missing women in Albuquerque. She is one of over a dozen women who went missing in the area between 2001 and 2005, many of whom were involved in drugs and prostitution. Despite multiple investigations, the circumstances of her disappearance remain unclear, and there have been no major breakthroughs in her case.
