In the late autumn of 2007, a daughter performed a simple act of kindness for her mother, giving her a ride to her destination. This ordinary moment, however, would become the last time she was known to be seen. On November 27, 2007, 51-year-old Doretha Williams was dropped off by her daughter in the area of Rylands Street near Congress Street in Mobile, Alabama.
