Curtis Mackeever Fair, a 2-year-old boy from Nampa, Idaho, was last seen on November 5, 1980. He had been playing in his neighbor’s yard in the 300 block of 15th Avenue when he suddenly disappeared around noon. Despite initial fears that Curtis may have fallen into nearby Indian Creek, exhaustive searches of the area yielded no trace of him. Curtis was described as having blond to light brown hair, green eyes, and distinctive scars—a half-inch scar under his chin and a two-and-a-half to
three-inch scar on his back.
The case was eventually classified as a non-family abduction after no evidence emerged linking his disappearance to the creek or any other natural cause. Curtis was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweater, blue pants, and brown boots. Investigators have kept the case open, but over the years, few leads have surfaced, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
Age progression images have been created in hopes of finding Curtis, but no major developments have occurred. Authorities and his family continue to seek information that could bring closure to this decades-old case.
