At the time of his disappearance, Cervantes was described as 5'8", weighing around 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown or green eyes.
He also had several distinctive tattoos, including "RIP Pedro Cervantes" and the words "IT," "TECS," and "PECAS" on his arms. His nicknames included Alex and Pecas.
In 2010, the friend with whom Cervantes had moved to Idaho was shot and killed during an alleged drug deal. While it is unclear if this event is directly connected to Cervantes' disappearance, the circumstances have raised concerns about possible foul play.
