April Grisanti, a 20-year-old from Norwalk, Connecticut, was last seen on February 1, 1985. She was leaving Anthony's Café on Main Street after an argument with her ex-boyfriend, James C. "Purple" Aaron. Witnesses reported seeing Aaron force Grisanti into his blue Cadillac as she struggled and screamed. This incident occurred shortly after she had called the police, reporting an assault, but she declined to press charges.
