Blake Wade Pursley, a 14-year-old boy, went missing on June 26, 1994, from Running Springs, California. At the time, he was living at the CEDU School, a private residential facility for children with special needs. Blake had only been enrolled at the school since June 1 and was reportedly homesick. On the evening of his disappearance, he was last seen around 8:00 p.m., heading to a barn on the school property to check on the animals.
