Ronald Emmitt Yocom, a 67-year-old man from Running Springs, California, was last seen on June 3, 2018, hiking near Hunsaker Road and Deep Creek in the local area. Yocom, who was in the early stages of dementia and had heart disease, did not return from his hike, prompting his daughter to report him missing four days later when she had not heard from him. Despite an extensive search of the hiking trail, no signs of him were found.
