In the autumn of 1995, a profound and unsettling mystery began to unfold in Raleigh, North Carolina, with the disappearance of 29-year-old Roy Neil Searchwell. On October 26, 1995, Roy was last seen at his home on St. Augustine Avenue. A native of Jamaica, he had moved to the United States about three years prior, first living in New Jersey before relocating to Raleigh just two months before he vanished.
