In the cold evening hours of January 12, 2025, 33-year-old Rakem Devo Elliott vanished in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was last seen at approximately 8:40 p.m. in the vicinity of Interstate 40 and Hammond Road. The last person to see him was his brother, Arsenio Elliott. The two had been in a heated argument while driving, which resulted in Rakem exiting his brother's vehicle on an exit ramp near the I-40 overpass above Garner Road on a night when temperatures were around 30 degrees.
