Jeffrey L. Ashford, a 24-year-old former student of Lincoln University, was last seen on April 28, 1998, in Jefferson City, Missouri. On the day of his disappearance, Ashford was visiting a residence hall on campus when he received an electronic page and made a phone call. Witnesses reported that he told the person on the other end of the line that he would meet them outside.
