Tabitha Diane Brewer, 16, was last seen on April 27, 1998, in Shawnee, Kansas. She disappeared along with her 19-year-old boyfriend, Nicholas Travis. That night, they left her father’s home with a friend, Brandon Howell, to run an errand but never returned. Three days after their disappearance, Tabitha’s partially burned purse and both of their identification cards were found in a dumpster in Kansas City, Missouri. This discovery quickly led investigators to suspect foul play.
