Daniel Borje Santiago, age 7, was last seen on July 12, 2002, in Honolulu, Hawaii, along with his 11-year-old brother Noel and their father, Victorio Abueg Santiago. Victorio, an active-duty U.S. Navy officer, was estranged from his wife, Ruby, at the time. On the night of their disappearance, Victorio visited Ruby’s home in an attempt to reconcile, but the situation escalated into a physical altercation.
