Alfred James Grimes, a 14-year-old boy from Monterey, California, disappeared on December 14, 1968. He was last seen early that morning with his friend, 12-year-old Sammy Jackson, heading to Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey for a fishing trip, which was a regular activity for the boys. A bus driver recalled seeing them around 4:30 a.m. and dropping them off near the wharf. However, neither of the boys were ever seen again.
