Daniel Naylor, a 14-year-old boy from Fremont, California, disappeared on October 5, 1982, after leaving his home in anger following an argument with his parents. Daniel was last seen around 7:30 p.m. riding his bicycle away from his house on Nightingale Place. Despite an extensive search by neighbors, his bike was later found hidden in bushes along the Alameda Creek Trail, but there was no sign of Daniel.
