Jeffrey Lee Comphel, 25, was last seen on October 15, 1983, in Fremont, California. He had rented a room, and after three weeks, he informed his landlord that he was leaving and gave away his belongings. His last known sighting was at a bus stop, as he did not own a car and primarily relied on public transportation. After that day, he vanished, and no further contact was made with his family, which was highly uncharacteristic of him.
Comphel, described as a Caucasian male with brown hair and blue eyes, stood 5'11" and weighed about 150 pounds. His family reported that it was unusual for him not to keep in touch. Despite efforts by authorities, his case remains unsolved, with little information available about his whereabouts or what might have happened to him. The Fremont Police Department continues to investigate, hoping for new leads in this decades-old case.
