George Dewey Nutting, 20, was last seen in the early hours of June 12, 1988, at the Gun and Rod Club in Houston, Delaware. On the night of his disappearance, Nutting, who was heavily intoxicated, had several altercations, including a heated argument with his wife of just three months. His wife reportedly left the club but saw Nutting walking away from the area as she drove off. When she returned a few hours later to pick him up, he was gone. He was reported missing the next day.
