Anna Jovita Mallari, 24, was last seen on December 1, 1988, in El Paso, Texas. She worked in food service at Providence Memorial Hospital, and her employer reported her missing when she failed to show up for her shift that day. Anna, of Filipino descent, was 5'0" tall, weighed approximately 115 pounds, and had distinguishing features including a C-section scar on her abdomen.
At the time of her disappearance, Anna and her husband, Rolando, lived in El Paso.
Following her disappearance, Rolando claimed that Anna and their child had returned to the Philippines to stay with her parents. However, authorities later discovered that she never arrived at her parents’ home. After this revelation, Rolando also disappeared, adding to the suspicion surrounding the case. Foul play is strongly suspected, but despite initial investigations, her case remains unsolved.
