Margaret Patterson, 42, and her husband William Patterson mysteriously disappeared from their El Paso, Texas home on the night of March 5, 1957. The couple left behind their well-maintained house in disarray, with unwashed dishes and personal belongings strewn about. Most notably, their beloved pet cat, Tommy, was left uncared for, which was particularly unusual given Margaret's affection for the animal.
