In the pre-dawn hours of July 29, 1990, 34-year-old Gayla Jean Barnes was last seen in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At approximately 4:00 a.m., she indicated that she was planning to travel to Denver, a city about an hour and a half away. Gayla, a white female with brown hair and green eyes, stood approximately five feet nine inches tall and weighed around 130 pounds. When she was last seen, she was wearing blue jeans.
