Deborah Ann Heriford, a 51-year-old woman, was last seen on March 31, 2011, in her Colorado Springs neighborhood walking her dog, a Westie terrier, near Academy Boulevard and Vickers Drive. Deborah had just returned home after working as a crossing guard at Discovery Canyon Elementary School. Her dog was later found tied to a post behind a business, about a quarter of a mile from her home, on April 1, 2011, but there was no sign of Deborah.
