That evening, Bonnie drove her silver Dodge Caravan to a shopping center at the intersection of Lumsden Road and Lithia Pinecrest Road in Brandon, Florida. She had reportedly gone there to meet a man in his forties with whom she had been in a relationship. Bonnie’s van was later found abandoned in the parking lot with her purse, containing $75, and Jeremy's diaper bag still inside. Neither Bonnie nor Jeremy have been seen since.
In the days leading up to her disappearance, Bonnie withdrew a significant sum of $15,075 from her bank account, planning to invest in a business run by a man living near her parents' home. This man has never been publicly named or charged, but he remains a person of interest. Despite her sudden disappearance, most of the inheritance Bonnie had received from her grandparents remained in her account, raising further suspicions.
