In the autumn of 1994, 64-year-old Robert Jerome Brand was last seen by a friend in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The two had been closing up a trailer that Brand used as a fishing cottage. Hailing from Howard City in Montcalm County, Robert was a man who enjoyed fishing, particularly at Isle Royale National Park.
