Shy'Kemmia Pate, an 8-year-old girl, disappeared on September 4, 1998, from Unadilla, Georgia. She was last seen outside her family's home on Crumpler Avenue around 7:00 p.m., dressed in a bright neon green Atlanta Braves jersey, Levi jeans, and white K-Swiss sneakers. That evening, her family planned to attend a high school football game, and her older sister left to get gas, intending to pick up Shy'Kemmia afterward. When she returned, Shy'Kemmia was missing.
