James Henry Mayberry Jr., a 35-year-old man, was last seen on April 1, 1999, in Kenedy, Texas. Mayberry, also known as "Jamie," was a cross-dresser and was last seen leaving his home with an unknown male who had knocked on his door around 11:00 p.m. Although he told his niece he didn't know the man, he decided to leave with him, saying he would be right back.
