In the early summer of 2001, the life of Michael Steven Bowcott took a turn that left his family with unanswered questions that persist to this day. On June 17th of that year, Michael, then 47 years old, attended a party in Peoria, Illinois. An altercation broke out, and Michael sustained injuries significant enough for his sister to be concerned.
