Eric Brown, a 14-year-old boy from Vero Beach, Florida, went missing on October 7, 2007. He was last seen at an unguarded beach south of South Beach Park, where he had been spending time with a group of friends. The incident occurred when one of his female friends began to struggle in the water due to a strong current.
