Christine Walters, a 23-year-old woman from Wisconsin, disappeared on November 14, 2008, in Eureka, California. She had been on a summer trip to Oregon earlier that year and decided to extend her stay, eventually moving to Humboldt County. Christine became involved in alternative spiritual practices and was connected to a group called Green Life Evolutions, which has since disbanded.
