In the autumn of 2008, a 43-year-old U.S. Navy veteran named Taveta Michelle Hobbs seemingly vanished from her life in Raleigh, North Carolina. At the time, she was working for a company in the nearby city of Cary and was also training to become a court reporter. The last confirmed sighting of Taveta was by her employer on November 17, 2008. Her husband later reported to authorities that she had abruptly left him on November 24, 2008, supposedly heading to Burbank, California. However, the circu ...
