Summary based on the NamUs case record (MP5446) and 12 other sources
Wojciech Fudali, a 22-year-old University of Rhode Island graduate, was last seen on December 6, 2008, in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Fudali had attended a party at a friend's house on East Shore Road the night before. Early in the morning, around 5:00 a.m., his friends witnessed him behaving erratically—he was naked, hitting himself with a metal pole, and repeatedly saying, “trust me.” His friends did not seek help and eventually went back to sleep.

When his friends woke up later that morning, Fudali had disappeared. He had left behind all of his belongings, including his phone, keys, money, and clothing. Temperatures that day were around 30 degrees, and he was last seen by witnesses naked near the Galilee Bird Sanctuary and running near Galilee Escape Road.

Prior to his disappearance, Fudali had stopped taking prescribed anti-anxiety medication and exhibited unusual behavior, such as walking around barefoot and underdressed for cold weather. A week before, police had encountered him walking along the Cliff Walk in Newport holding a Bible but found no immediate cause for concern.

Despite extensive searches in the bird sanctuary and surrounding areas, no trace of Fudali has ever been found. His disappearance remains unsolved, though authorities have ruled out foul play. His family continues to hope for answers and has offered a reward for information related to his case.
