Michael J. Sweet, age 24, was last seen on August 15, 1987, in Narragansett, Rhode Island. He and his friend, Peter Carocci, set out for a four-hour fishing trip on a 19-foot motorboat. However, neither man returned. The U.S. Coast Guard found their boat swamped and adrift about 15 miles southeast of Block Island, but there was no sign of the two men.
