Jorgen Andersen, a 20-year-old Danish citizen, was last seen on February 17, 1980, in San Rafael, California. He was planning to meet his parents for a vacation in Jamaica and had purchased a plane ticket for a flight departing from San Francisco International Airport. However, Andersen never boarded the flight, and he has not been seen or heard from since.

At the time of his disappearance, Jorgen lived in an apartment in San Rafael. Authorities discovered an outstanding arrest warrant for him, related to a parole violation and automobile theft, though it remains unclear if these charges contributed to his disappearance. Investigators found no sign of Andersen at his residence, and his case has since gone cold.

Jorgen was known to go by the nicknames Jon or Andy and had a distinctive tattoo of a snake on his right forearm. He may have also used the alias Jon Eric Anderson.
