Peggy Dianovsky, a 28-year-old mother of three, went missing on September 12, 1982, from Schaumburg, Illinois. At the time of her disappearance, Peggy was in the midst of a contentious divorce and custody battle with her husband, Robert Dianovsky. The couple often had violent arguments, and Peggy had previously accused Robert of physical abuse.
