On April 17, 1985, 44-year-old Lowell Clark Senter, a pilot from Gastonia, North Carolina, was reportedly hired for a flight to the Bahamas. He was expected to call his family upon his arrival, but that call never came. Senter was a white male with red or auburn hair and blue eyes, standing at 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 195 pounds.
