Lowell Clark Senter Jr., a 44-year-old pilot from Gastonia, North Carolina, was last seen on April 17, 1985. Senter had been hired to make a flight to the Bahamas and promised his wife he would call her once he arrived. However, he never made the call and was never heard from again. Nearly a month later, on May 25, 1985, his blue and white 1978 Dodge pickup truck was discovered abandoned at the Charlotte airport.
