Lowell Clark Senter Jr., a 44-year-old pilot from Gastonia, North Carolina, was last seen on April 17, 1985. Senter had been hired to make a flight to the Bahamas and promised his wife he would call her once he arrived. However, he never made the call and was never heard from again. Nearly a month later, on May 25, 1985, his blue and white 1978 Dodge pickup truck was discovered abandoned at the Charlotte airport. Despite extensive searches and investigations, no trace of Senter has been found.
