Thomas John Gordinier, aged 29, was last seen on May 2, 1987, at his mobile home in the Country Lakes Mobile Home Park in Coconut Creek, Florida. That evening, Gordinier was entertaining two friends, who left his home around 9 p.m. The following day, a neighbor stopped by to retrieve a borrowed tool but received no response at Gordinier's home. His disappearance was officially reported on May 8, 1987, by his employer, after Gordinier, an electrical contractor, failed to show up for work for an entire week.
His disappearance raised concerns because Gordinier left behind all of his belongings, including his clothes, and did not indicate that he was planning to leave the area. Friends and family described him as responsible and well-liked, and his sudden disappearance baffled everyone close to him. Although there is no concrete evidence, foul play is suspected due to the mysterious circumstances surrounding his case. Despite various investigative efforts by the Coconut Creek Police Department, Gordinier has not been located, and the case remains unsolved.
