Peter Strother Madison, 64, was last seen in Treasure Island, Florida, on June 13, 1986. On the evening of his disappearance, he had visited a friend's home and left in his white 1976 Ford van to return to his rented house. There is no evidence to suggest he ever made it home. Left behind at his residence were his personal belongings and his daughter's elderly, blind dog, for which he was caring. Investigators found no signs of forced entry at his home.
