In the summer of 1988, an elderly man named Lloyd Melvin Thomas vanished while on a journey to visit his son. On July 24th, the 88-year-old was seen at the Madison Station in Covington, Kentucky, where he boarded a Greyhound bus destined for San Antonio, Texas. He was carrying a brown overnight suitcase and was dressed in a tan, plaid jacket, a bluish-gray plaid shirt, and gray slacks. Thomas also wore eyeglasses and a watch.
