Latoya Natasha Thomas, 24 years old, was last seen on September 30, 2000, after attending a party at the Bosley Medical Center in San Francisco where she worked. She left the party around 9:00 p.m., driving her gray Mazda back to her home in Hayward, California. Later that evening, she was seen by her apartment manager doing laundry at her Riverside Terrace apartment complex. Shortly after, she left with her boyfriend following her in his car. Latoya has not been heard from since.

Her car was found abandoned on October 5, 2000, just five days after her disappearance. It was discovered parked near the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station in downtown Hayward. Inside, her purse and driver's license were found on the front seat, but her car keys were missing, and there were no signs of Latoya herself. Despite extensive searches, no significant leads have been uncovered. Her boyfriend cooperated with the investigation, but no one has been named or eliminated as a suspect. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

Her case remains unsolved, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Hayward Police Department. Latoya's disappearance continues to be a cold case, with her family still seeking answers.
