Giang Thai Than Phan, a 33-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, vanished while on a business trip in Louisiana. On April 8, 2011, he was last seen in Hammond, Louisiana. He had lunch with an old friend at a local Mexican restaurant, La Carreta, from approximately noon until 1:30 p.m. After lunch, Giang reportedly planned to drive to New Orleans for some business before heading to Golden Meadow to meet a business partner.
