A graduate of Woodside High School, Julian was a senior at Norfolk State University, where he had earned a full academic scholarship. He was on the verge of receiving his Bachelor of Science in General Business - Entrepreneurship, a degree that would be awarded to him posthumously. Alongside his studies, he was also an employee at the Newport News Shipyard. Friends and family remembered him as a kind-hearted and confident individual who radiated warmth and never passed judgment on others. He was an avid sports fan, passionately cheering for the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Ravens.
