Mark Bosworth, a 54-year-old volunteer from Portland, Oregon, went missing on September 16, 2011, during a cycling event in Riddle, Oregon. He was last seen late that evening near his tent at the Cycle Oregon event, where he had been helping as a volunteer. Bosworth, who had previously survived two bouts of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, had been exhibiting signs of confusion and disorientation leading up to his disappearance.
