Robert Michael Bobo, 36, was last seen on October 2, 1998, in the Rogue River–Siskiyou National Forest near Prospect, Oregon. A female friend had dropped him off at his campsite in the Woodruff Meadows area around 9:00 p.m. the night before the start of hunting season. Bobo was known to be a part-time woodcutter, and he had been camping alone for several weeks in the area.
