Daniel "Danny" Goldman, a 17-year-old from Surfside, Florida, was abducted from his home at gunpoint in the early hours of March 28, 1966, the day before his 18th birthday. The intruder, who entered through an unlocked sliding glass door, demanded $10,000 from Danny’s parents, Aaron and Sally Goldman. When they couldn’t provide the money, the kidnapper took Danny and increased the ransom demand to $25,000, threatening to kill him if the money wasn’t delivered.
