Larry Marvin Morris, a 24-year-old seismograph worker from Oklahoma, went missing on April 26, 1974, while working in Riverton, Wyoming. Morris planned to visit Yellowstone National Park before returning to Oklahoma, but he never arrived at either location. His green 1966 Ford pickup truck also disappeared with him but was later found abandoned in California.
Two men, James Jagers and Jack Lincoln, who had both recently escaped from prison, were later arrested in possession of Morris's credit cards and personal belongings. His credit cards were used in several states, including Idaho, Nevada, and California. Despite being apprehended, neither man cooperated with the investigation, and Morris's body has never been found. In 1983, Jagers hinted that he knew the location of Morris's remains, but the information never led to a resolution. The case remains unsolved and is treated as a homicide.
