Peggy Jo DeCoteau, age 40, went missing on July 4, 1979, while staying at the Big Sky Motel in Superior, Montana, with her husband, Earl. The couple was traveling from their home in Maple Valley, Washington, to visit relatives in North Dakota. According to Earl, when he woke up around 11:00 p.m., Peggy and her belongings, including her purse and travel bag, were gone.
