Elisabeth Ann Huster, a 9-year-old girl from Portland, Oregon, was last seen on August 31, 1996, at a wedding in the Cedar Mill area. Her parents, Karen and Michael Huster, were in the midst of a divorce, and Elisabeth was staying with her mother at the time. Michael reported Elisabeth missing on December 23, 1996, after months of not being able to contact her or confirm her enrollment in school.
