Richard Dewain Hess, age 25, was last seen on December 5, 2010, in Barnett, Missouri. He was visiting his cousin's house when, after his cousin left, there was an explosion, and the house caught fire. Despite attempts by a witness to rescue him, the intense flames and smoke made entry impossible. Investigators, including cadaver dogs, searched the area but found no trace of Hess. He has not been seen or heard from since.
