Patricia Erin Scala, 26, was last seen on May 22, 2012, in Sarasota, Florida. On the day of her disappearance, her boyfriend claimed he dropped her off at a hotel on U.S. 41. After that, she was never heard from again, which was unusual for Patricia, as she maintained regular contact with her family. In the years following her disappearance, numerous interviews and investigations have taken place, but none have provided any significant leads.
In 2018, investigators received a tip suggesting that Patricia might have been the victim of a homicide and that her remains were buried at a property where she had lived with her boyfriend. However, after an extensive search of the property, no evidence was found. Despite the ongoing efforts by law enforcement, her case remains unsolved. Patricia had distinguishing features such as a gap between her front teeth and tattoos, including the zodiac sign for Gemini on her back and an orange cartoon tiger on her hip.
