Steven Michael Babka was a 58-year-old man who was experiencing homelessness at the time of his disappearance from Marengo, Iowa. His last confirmed sighting was on May 25, 2012. Mr. Babka was living a quiet life in a tent he had set up on the outskirts of town, near the Iowa River. He was known to travel around the area on a bicycle, as he did not own an automobile.
