On December 4, 1974, Charles Darrow Lloyd, 67, vanished under mysterious circumstances from Banks, Oregon. Lloyd was last seen leaving Banks Billiards, accompanied by a younger man, Robert Zema, who was 24 at the time. Shortly after, authorities discovered evidence of a violent struggle at Lloyd's apartment, including a significant amount of blood. Despite extensive searches, Lloyd's body was never recovered, and his disappearance remains unsolved to this day.
